  2. Why do a gene test?
    1. For long term chronic and unresolving cases
    2. Family history of health issues

2. GUT testing           

We have many tests available to look at upper digestive and lower bowel issues

Upper digestive system:  Tests for Helicobactor pylori, SIBO (small intestinal bowel overgrowth) and SIFO (small intestinal fungal overgrowth) in the upper gut (which often present with nausea, reflux, heart burn, wind and bloating)

Lower digestive system:

    1. Stool testing for :
      1. IBS / Constipation / Diarrhoea / Reflux / Wind and bloating
    2. PCR stool test for Parasites

    2. For health conditions which are not resolving.  This usually involves a general screen, plus specific markers if needed for your individual case

4. Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis

    1. Looks at which minerals you may lack or have in excess
    2. Also tests for heavy metals such as lead, mercury, arsenic etc

5. Saliva testing

    1. Often done as part of a hormone test to check for imbalance in a male or female cycle

6. Urine testing

    1. Urinary Health
    2. Pyrrole disorder (Pyrrole disorder is associated with behavioural and mood disorders in children and adults)

7. Functional testing 

Functional testing can and does include blood testing and other relevant testing as mentioned above and depending on presenting symptoms
